For July 2022, I've continued to create multimedia, storybook-like art that highlights my pencil sketching technique.

Postcards From July showcass my love and respect for nature and features three specific animal friends I feel a special connection to, moose, orca, and wolf.

About Moose: In my mid-20s while on tour with my band, in Montana, I met a very old man who carried with him photographs of the moose that he was fostering, a 5-month-old calf that had been separated from its mother. The man's story moved me deeply. His gentle and caring nature was an incredible example of opening up your heart and your home to an animal friend in need. I was taken aback at how large a calf was and how soft their fur is. They are a bit awkward when young, but so sweet and they represent to me the vulnerability and strength of nature.
